It has been a REALLY long time since I wrote a real post. Our camera died a few weeks ago and although we've discussed it and looked at a few options we still haven't bought one so this will be a long post with no pictures...sorry! Here's what we've been up to:
Abby Jan is walking and talking. She tries her hardest too keep up with her brother and sister. She loves wearing jewelry and seems to always find something to put around her neck or wrist. She's quite the climber and very brave so is really enjoying trips to the park lately. No slide is too high for Abby.
Cody is getting excited about his upcoming birthday. He's thrilled to finally be out of Nursery and in Sunbeams. He loves climbing trees and playing in the backyard. Next week he'll start his second season of basketball. He's a great brother and rides his bike down to the bus stop everyday to pick Bryn up and carry her bag home.
Bryn has begun losing teeth. She's scared of the tooth fairy though so she leaves her teeth on the kitchen counter rather than under her pillow. Luckily, the tooth fairy doesn't seem to mind leaving money in the kitchen! She a voracious reader and is really excited to be reading the Magic Tree House series. She's taking gymnastics class again and loves that. She continues to be a super helpful and thoughtful daughter and sister.
Braden is hanging in there. After a lull in commercial real estate things seem to be picking up a little so he is swamped at work again. He was released as 2nd counselor in the Bishopric 2 weeks ago and called to be 1st counselor. As Bryn said (to a member of the Stake Presidency) "How much different can it be? He's still the Bishop's helper." He's excited to play in a kickball tournament this weekend with some friends.
I'm doing well...busy being the mom and running this household while trying to maintain my sanity. My pregnancy is going well. I've hit that great spot where you're over the nausea of the 1st trimester and not yet big enough to be uncomfortable at all. I just finished reading all of Shannon Hale's books. They were all great...my favorite though was The Princess Academy.
So there's the update. We're gearing up for Braden and Cody's birthdays and our camping trip to the Keys with our friends and the Markers. Pictures in the next post....I promise.

Thanks for the wonderful update on the family. We enjoyed seeing you all at Christmas. Tell Cody that his snowman is getting much smaller, and tell Bryn that I enjoyed our bike rides together. Give Abby a big hug for us. We are glad you are feeling well Kris and we are excited to know the sex of the baby soon. The snow is now about 18 inches deep here. Thanks again for the post.
